Health and Recreation

To ensure a wide range of local facilities, protect, enhance, and increase green spaces,  and improve recreation availability for the expanding town.

1. To ensure the provision of appropriate and adequate health services that meet the needs of a growing and ageing population, including pandemic readiness.
2. To ensure that existing parks, play areas, playing fields and open spaces are retained and additional open space areas provided in new areas of development.
3. To provide space for the provision of community leisure facilities.
4. To provide community space within the new redeveloped prison.
